from my limitied knowledge...

hp pavillion ze4400
AMD Athlon XP
Windows home XP

The issue: working fine one day, the next not. System keeps rebooting, gives options to safe mode, SM w/ networking, last known good config, etc.

when choosing any of these Windows startup begins (logo, loading bar, etc.) then a blue screen flashes by and the machine reboots.

The exception being that if I choose safe mode some multi disk/rdisk/partition/Windows/system mojo flashes down the black screen. Once I got it to boot into safe mode and started running AVG but it rebooted.

Any ideas?

Here is what Blue screen says...

some message about new hardware/software not properly installed...disable or remove if problem continues...Disable BIOS memory options, caching or shadowing.....Use safe mode to remove or disable...

No new software or hardware was installed, like I said in trhe above post, safemode is crap...
