Want an upgrade for a old graphic card

Greetings,
Recently, 1 of my cousin wants to upgrade his graphic card; but he can't decide which one to get. I found 1 for him but I'm not really a geek into these stuff. So I'm here to ask you guys about it.

So anyway, right now he is using a GeForce4 MX 420 64MB AGP 4x. He is also using a dell computer, something like Dimen 4550 and Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.53GHz Processor, Win XP SP2.

for him but I'm not so sure yet if it can be used for his comp or not. also if it is an big upgrade for him or not. By the way, he plays games, thats why he's looking for a better card for better gaming performance.

also not sure about this; Geforce4 MX420 is a SDRAM, whereas ATI Radeon 9550 is a DDR-SDRAM (DDRRAM) Can 9550 still work for me?

my guess is - any AGP VGA will work
