I am at a loss, this machine will not power on or charge the battery, when it is plugged in to the adaptor the light under the litte picture of the plug in flashes and the blue light on the adaptor flashes. Sometimes the display screen or other lights will flash but it will not start. :cry:

Your power adapter is probably dead, try finding someone with the same adapter or go buy a new one that is compatible. If it is not the adapter, the power connection to your motherboard may have become lose. This is an easy sodering fix, but most places just replace the motherboard. If its not the adapter, and the cost to repair is over 100 dollars, I'd look into buying a new laptop (especially if it is older).
