What would happen if a ddr2 1.8v is placed in a ddr 2.5v slot? Could anything burnn? Would it be detected by thhe computer?
I need to know how many mbytes a ram is and the sticker is almost removed. All I can see is DDRII... 1.8.

Usually ram isn't interchangeable. Ie. one stick wont fit in the others slot. And if it were the wrong ram it simply would not work. It wont hurt the ram if its not what your looking for it just wont work.
