HELP! I had the power supply replaced and whenever the power goes out from the surge it won't power up. It has been powering up fine from stand by and hibernate. I need it to start just one more time I bought a c521 and need to transfer info from the hard drive. the 4500 is xp and the c521 is vista, any suggestions how I can get the info transferred from the 4500 hard drive??

You can attach the hard disk from Dimension 4500 to an USB 2.0 Hard Disk Enclosure. Then run to your Dimension c521 through usb port.
