This is my first time using "HijackTHis" as well as posting a thread. I was wondering if someone could help me with my problem. I can no longer access the files/shortcuts on my desktop. I was informed to post my log and someone could help me soon.

Please help.

Hi Abe and welcome to Daniweb. At the top of this forum is a request to post all hijackthis logs in the Security forum.

First of all you need to update your hijackthis using either the Update feature within it or from here:

http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/x-Download-5034.html

Close all browser windows, scan again, and post the new log in the Security forum.

I don't know if this will be relevent or not, but did this problem start shortly after upgrading to SP2?
