Hi guys, I too have a problem with the red circle white x virus, and I have an unamed toolbar in my internet browser that states security tests, scan spyware, remove pop ups, and spam protection.

I am also encountering a lot of pop ups, and I have 3 shortcuts on my desktop with various cleaning names. When I open my internet browser, I also have a default of ultimate cleaner 2007 and this will not change either. I have system alert pop ups occuring from the X in the task bar. This tells me to use recommended spyware program, and a medium sized pop up in the middle of the screen that reads security alert, stating a worm.win32.booster virus I believe.
I have McAfee, have put in safe mode and run, tells me the computer is not protected, yet when I run it in windows, it tells me that I am protected. I also have a yellow triangle with black exclamation point that appears in my taskbar everynow and then stating system alert, please update spyware software.
I have tried to follow instructions that were given to another member, yet I was unable to use all the advice given, I would really appreciate some help on this one, I have run hijackthis and here is my log:

rename hijackthis.exe to something else, and rerun the scan. Post the log again

This is essential as some spyware hides from hijackthis.exe
