Hi

i ran a manual scan over my machine today using Trendmicro pc cillian that is usual very good at removing the nasties that get into my machine however this file WINNT\system32\NETAPI32.DLL has become infected which is what the virus scanner detects however it can not clean/quarantine or delete from the system, Does anyone have any ideas in how i could safety remove remove the virus without deleting the file as i realise that it is a system file

so couldnt u just replace it with one u dl off the net?? if its the network manager type file it wouldnt really affect it would it?? anyway jus trying to help so dnt do it until sum1 who has more knowledge with this type of thing replies.
