Having a problem because I pulled the plug on an external hard incorrectly.
I now keep getting the message:
"The device you removed ____________you must first select its icon in the finder & choose eject from the file menu."
Only problem is the Icon is not on the finder anymore and the message keeps re appearing every 10 seconds or so.

Have tried to Erase the whole Disk and start again but get:
"Disk Erase failed with the error ""could not un mount disk""

Can anyone help me.

Hi,
Its Leopard and the drive has a USB connection.
I also reinstalled Leopard again and I may have changed Admin or something similar,making the drive think I am the wrong computer.
