I'm trying to delete a half-installed palm installer. Unfortunately, when I drag it to the waste basket and try and delete it...it says that the installer is locked and for the life of me I can't find a way to unlock it. Or better yet...just to get it off my computer. The big problem is that it won't let me install any updates or anything because I get a message that says the "bin installer" is busy.

Anyone know how to fix this...

Hold down Option and then Empty the Trash from the pull-down menu. This will remove locked files as well.

A restart should fix your installer problem.
