im trying to install a program onto my computer (HP Pavillion - XP Home Edition) but the installation wont proceed as it claims that IE is running and that it needs to be closed. The problem is that IE open and when i look at the task manager it is not listed as a running aplication. I thought maybe (with my computer limited knowledge) that another program maybe "secretly" (sorry, dont know the technical term) running IE so i ran both AD-aware 6.0 and spybot 1.2 but they couldnt find anything. Can you help?
