Random clicking that throws me of the page

Hello,

I was wondering whether somebody could help me. Sorry if i am in the wrong section. I am having a problem with my laptop. I am pretty sure that its now related to MS Outlook. Its definately not a mouse problem because i have tested both an external mouse and my mouse pad. What happens is that suddenly there are about three clicks (the same kind of clicks if you are navigating a webpage) and then what ever i am writing on at the time (whether it be this notice, or on word or a message on skype) the cursor is moved off page and i have to click back in the box again to continue writing. It does get very frustrating. Now i think i have singled it out to MS Outlook. Every time it sends or receives i then get the random clicks. So of course when its running open in the background, every few minutes when its set to send and receive automatically i get thrown off whatever i am working on. Is any body able to give me any advise on what i can do to prevent this.

Its only been happening recently. I did have this trojan.brisv.a!inf on my computer recently and ran the recommended thingy to get rid of it which i had to do in safe mode. I can't be exact but this problem may have happended after i did this but i'm not sure. Could it be related? I am running Norton internet Security. I have run a full system scan and its all fine.

Whenever these sort of things come into the forum and there was a trojan that had been thought cleared, it's the past damage done by the trojan that could be the problem.

That damage is likely to be whatever malware is subsequently pulled onto your computer.

So we'll need to look at a HJT log since we're not in the position of having the computer in front of us. The log might not reveal anything but a Malware removal tool, if run again, might reveal something.

I'm assuming that your mouse mat check showed no unevenness and in any case the clicks are surely linked to the problem and suggest some interfering software - malware.

This program is dodgy according to various spyware advisories:

I think this is one of those you just delete, and from the Start Menu, reboot and it's gone. Don't see how that could account for the Mouse behaviour, though.
