I am unable to watch dvds but can listen and open cds and burn them. I was told this was an issue with Itunes and vista and changes were needed in the registry? Any ideas or suggestions?

Vista is improved version of windows XP.During installataion we should use 2gb ram and at least 120gb hard disk.
