Hi.
I have got a simple problem that has got me beat.
I have removed XP and replaced it with Windows 2000 pro on my daughters laptop Dell Inspiron 1000, there is nothing else installed on it and it has not been connected to the web yet. the problem is I have bought a Belkin Wireless G notebook card, but the installation disk will not start all I get is a message:- Program error, "Start.exe has generated errors and will be shut down by windows you will need to restart the program, an error log has been generated" I keep getting this message every time I try to Install the device. To check out the installation disk I have tried to install it on another win 2k machine and that works.
some help please.

did you install your motherboard chipset ,and other drivers for win2000,check device manager for red x's or yellow !'s ,just curious why did you go backwards to win2000
