Unable to uninstall Internet Explorer (8)
Windows XP PRO SP3
I am unable to uninstall IE8 and go back to IE7.
In control panel>Add\Remove programs
Ticked Show updates> I cannot see IE8 > Instead I see IE7 (Windows internet explorer 7).

NOTE: Within Internet explorer (in help>about> show IE8 version 7.02320

I need to go back to IE7 because certain program doesn’t work with IE8 and is driving me crazy any assistance or suggestion would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi
Firstly did you install IE8 before installing SP3. If you did then you will have to uninstall SP3 and then IE8. Then download and install IE7 and reinstall SP3. Hopefully that should sort it.
