Is there a fix to make Word 2000 run in Windows 7?
Compatability tester says it is incompatible but offers no suggestions. I have tried to run it in XP compatability mode without success.

Word 2000? Damn son, get with the times! Does your hardware support using 7's XP mode? You could always download that and run it there. Otherwise you could just grab OpenOffice and use that instead. Fully compatible with MS Office formats and works great on 7. Oh, and wasn't Office 2000 written when 98, ME, and 2000 were the popular versions? You might also try running it in compatibility mode for one of those OSs.
