why is it the "edit, help and more" ms dos command wont work???
only the dir,cd,cd/,and changing the drive works........please help guys...tanx,

I am a bit rusty on dos buut use most commands. do you use 'help' or '?' as parameters differ!
It is also true that windows needs to have available the 'command.com' and rest of the dos commands and it is worth checking to see if they are in the same directory. Also you could try running a second command .com and se if that changes anything;
