I have a new query for you and was wondering if anybody has had the same problem and if they ever found a solution. I bought a Kingston 2 Gb Data Traveller to use for my printer files as I do not have a printer. I put it away for a couple of months as I did not need to use it, then I saw a Sony Music Centre that I liked and it had a USB socket, I thought I could use my flash drive, fine I loaded some music on to to it and it worked when I plugged it into my Sony, then I deleted what was on there and loaded it up again but when I plugged it back in to the Sony, it would not read it so I took out and tried in the PC but that would not read it neither.
What do you think has happened to its memory. I tried to contact Kingston but they don't want to know at least there is no response from their support center.
I gave up after a few weeks when I bought a HP 125 which works wonderfully, I don't have any problems with that one.
