I have a Compac with Vista home premium and i need to restore it to factory. I don't have a disk and i have tried to hit F11 and nothing happens.
I need to restore it because i have alot of viruses, missing drivers, and corupted programs.
Any help would be greatly appericated.
Jump to Postyou should make a restore disc, don't know how to do it in compaq. But try to explore on your pc. go start->all programs check if there's any folder that start with a name compaq.. if there is one check whether it has an option to make a recovery disc.

This works for me,
when you boot up your pc, press escape to give list of boot options
u'll see F11 option there, select it and restore.
