I was wandering if there was a way to use veritas 10.0 to backup data thats on my server to a hard drive thats on my desktop? I can only seem to get it to allow me to make a backup to a local hard drive.

We use Veritas here at my work, but we back up to a tape drive. You could try mapping a drive on the server to your desktop and then try choosing to back up to that drive. Not sure if it would work or not but its worth a shot.
