We use Macola Progression as our ERP at my company. Currently, it runs on the Pervasive.SQL database backend, also known as Btrieve. However, we are converting to MS SQL Server. I am (trying) to perform the conversion.
With Pervasive, there is a client installed on each workstation before Macola is installed. I have very little experience with MS SQL, but I would guess there needs something to be installed to allow the workstation's Macola installation to communicate with the SQL Server. Is there an SQL connectivity client to install? CAN it be downloaded? Is it on the 2008 disc? Where?
