Hi everyone !!,
I'm trying to create an ODBC Connection to a Pervasive Database and I get the message "The database name must be unique. The specified name already exists".
That is partially true. This connection name existed, but it was already deleted, and it is not shown anymore in Pervasive Control Center.
How can I remove this database name from where it remains, so I can use again this name for another connection??.

In the Pervasive Control Center, expand your machine name, then right-click on Configuration and select Maintain Named Databases. This shows you DBNAMES.CFG entries, and you should be able to delete the database name from there.
