Hello friends,

I need your help.....I recently setted up a new network with my existing pcs.I have totally 2 computers and a laptop, and i have an dsl connection.I wanted to connect all these pcs and laptop into a single network.So wat i did is i bought a new 8port switch and connected all these with a cat 6 cable with straight through type.the OS in 1 pc and the laptop is winxp and the other pc has win98.i have checked with the cables connecting directly to the adsl router and it is working fine.but when i connect all these to the switch it doesn connects to the router also each other.also i manually gave the ip address for all the pcs with the same network range.I need your help guys........
