Ok, I just recently brought a NetGear Wireless G Router WGR614 from Best Buy a few days ago and the only Internet Connection I have is Comcast so I been trying to configure the cords around in different patterns, then I insert the Setup Cd that came with it and it asked me for IP Addresses, My Subnet Mask, Deflaut GAteway and the works. I read that I can find that by pressing the "Start Menu" then scroll my mouse over "Run" and type in "CMD", when I did a black box showed and had computer information and I was told to type in " ipconfig/all" and a boatload of info detailing my Ip Address, Deflaut Gateway and etc. showed up. Anyway I been typing that into the Setup Cd for my Router and when it tries to establish a connection it doesn't work, informing me about an DNS problem!!!
I just want a simple way of doing this, I want a strong connection so that my Wireless Sim Card for my Dell laptop can access internet, and also I want my PS3 to have wireless internet all on this same router!!!
