I am working on a simple project of displaying no. of ports opened for a file.for that i first search all process using that file and that listing all those process in file. and than using netstat command make a file that contain all ports along wid pid(ie process opening them). then using c program searching and using 1st and 2nd file displaying ports opened for a file.can any one suggest a simple way. is there any other command except netstat which directly give ports open for particular file . i will highly appriciate ur help
