Ok I have an Atlon XP 2500 at 1.8 ghz 512 mb ram and 100GB hdd
A Cable modem/connection
And a Linksys Wireless B befw11s4 (with firmware upgrade)
4 port lan/wireless
I have my xbox, my pc (via cat5) and my laptop via wireless connected and they all are LIVE.
Now the problem arises when I retsart a device, all of which are configured for DHCP. They will not retrieve a new connection, even if i go into windows conrol panel and hit repair connection, they dont get a new ip address, or it does but still has no internet connection.
I literally have to powercycle the cable modem, router and pc before I can reconnect. Now if i leave it running all nght and day there is o problem.
i do have WEP installed on the wireless router.
I have no idea why this is happening
Any help would be greatly appreciated
