Network Found. No Internet Access

Hey All..

Heres The Lo-Down

my dad has a mac ( im 100% anti mac) and he bought the air port express so i can get wireless on my ibm in my room. heres the problem ive got an excelent signal/link quality and im connected to the network. but i just cant access the net. ive stayed up about 4 hours last night wondering what the hell has happened. and im baffled? Someone Help!.

encryption?

i know on my network that if i enter the password wrong i get a signal but no net access

and if there's no encryption, it might be mac filtering
