I have a small home network (3 computers) and a Linksys router with QoS. I would like to do some simple traffic shaping optimizations to prioritize webbrowsing and email, hopefully letting p2p and other stuff take a back seat.
I'm not sure which ports to prioritize. I know for browsing 80 and 443 should be used, but aren't there other ports used for DNS and others that browsing relies on?
I had trouble finding any QoS guides - especially one targeted for a simple home network. Nor was I able to find any port/service guides other than longs lists of ports and their common services.
