For the life of me, I can't find an answer for my issue. I recently purchased a Dell Laptop and a wireless router to go with it. With the laptop able to connect to the internet via the wireless functions of the router, it cannot find or access my desktop. HOWEVER, I can access my laptop from the desktop.:@

The laptop (Vista) is an Insperon 1721 with the installed 'g' compatibility
The router is Netgear WGR614 v7
The desktop(XP Media Center) is a generic platofrm that is wired to the router.

Sorry ahead of time if this has already been dealt with, but I can't seem to find a reference to it anywhere.

in vista i think you need to mess around with the networking features. i can't remeber but i think there's a specific option that enables you to look at other workgroup computers.
