i have removed the sliding text menu
and it solves the problem

but only shows the background in IE

i have a website (i wont psot specifics unless you ask)

i have 2 domain names both pointing to the same site

i made a sitemap and called it sitemap1.xml
the copied it altered the urls and named it sitemap2.xml

simples

i go to google webtools to submit my site maps
it excepts sitemap1 and the site is indexed and google is ok with it

but it dosnt like sitemap3 and tells me its an html file

it the same file with just one word changed in the url

dosnt matter what i do google dosnt like any sitmap for this site

anyone any ideas

I visited the site, but it doesn't go nuts in any browser (I have all 5 leading browsers (ff, ie, opera, safari, google chrome) on my computer). Perhaps you should update firefox to 3.5.6?

i am looking for some help with a little java script
i am no programmer so i need alot of help
i have a marquee tag on my page that slides in some text from right to left once and the stops and remains on the screen

Hi i have tried using several msn chat monitors and sniffers but they dont seem to monitor offline chat on msn live messenger

any suggestions

i am using xp home which is using a network card and a cable to the router and also using xp me which is wireless i can see the the pc using msn chat monitor on the network but it wont pic up any conversations

Hi everyone
just wondering if someone can help me
i am after some software to monitor another pc activity and msn conversations
as i have a daughter that is missbehaving and i need to monitor her conversations on msn i can log into her pc and see her history but this is a little too late as i need to see what she is saying at certain times and who she is talking too

if anyone has any ideas how to do this it would be much appreisted

Just a slight variation on the Firefox platform. Been using "Smartfox" [on a friends pc]

Seemingly based on Firefox 0.8. Apart from it hawking/touting a search site called "smartplane" as the default search being a slight pain, I've found it "lighter" on the WIn98SE system and capable of running most of what Firefox 1.0 plus would. The friend went to Smartfox after Firefox 1.03 and 1.04 failed in their installs.

its back again
i have found out that there is one mstask running in task manager
but if i use TCPView there are hundreds of versions running all red and transmitting
i have run all sorts of spyware and adaware and anti virus but still the problem comes back
i have found it i disable my conection for a couple of mins and start it again this rectifies the problem

hope someone can enlighten me

i now have a couple of things to do when it plays up again
but as tipickle of pc's it has been running ok now for 2 days without a problem
hope it is all cured
but if it is i will open a bew thread and paste in my task manager and tcpview

i have had a look at task manager b4 but not really sure f all the processes
at the moment she is behaving herself
but as soon as she goes nuts i will cut n paste task manager and TCPView on here to see if you have any ideas

Hello everyone
i am running a pc with win2k

i am on cable broadband and on a home network all the other pc's in the house are fine til mine goes mad

with the pc booted up and not running any internet software my pc (at no given time sometimes i it starts straigt away other times i can surf and chat for a couple of hours) my pc slows down
when i look at my network connection the pc is sending about 200k a second on transmit and almost nothing on recieve making web pages not load and stopping all the other pc's in the house using the net aswell

i have run
avg
spybot
microsoft adaware
adaware
system mechanic

all with out any luck of finding any nasties
i am convinced it must be some kind of adaware

can anyone please help or suggest a way in which i can find out what is going on

at present i am logged on and have been for 15 mins with out a problem but maybe in a min or hour it will start transmitting again

i have uninstalled all my codecs and reinstalled them stil to no avail

please please help

or mr format mite have to come and have a play

Having read around a little it seeems it mite be a problem with my codec files

does anyone know how to deinstall them or delete them

i have reciently come accross a problem where windows media playing when playing files on the web or on my pc playes sound ok but has no picture
i have run the usual programes adaware spybot avg system mechanic
i have also deinstalled it and reinstalled it with the same problem existing

i am still suffering from not being able to see thumbnails
when i look at a folder view i can see a folder with the usual four images in it
i can get a thumbnail of an mpeg file
and word docs and excel files show the relivant icons
but i dont get thumbnail of a jpeg etc
also i have noticed that under view there is now an option for filmstrip

all i get when i look at a folder is an icon of the file type
not a thumbnail of the pic or file

Try this ,in IE go to view,clik on status bar , then open mycomputer .go to view ,and clik status bar ,then still in mycomputer go to tools /folder options /view ,clik on apply to all folders .I think that was how i got minr to stay on awhile back

but i dont hva eie listed in add rmoved programs so cant repair it
followed the link and what they suggest as a restore dosnt work either

anyone got an ideas apart from putting up with it or a completer rebuild

running adaware programs removed a couple of items but nothing pointing towards ie or toolbars

although i did have isearch on here a couple of weeks ago
