HTTP 405 - Resource not allowed while accesing .asp page

in ie 5 i m writing this below statement
http://localhost/Mail/email.html

email.html page contains 3 field box username , password and name .it calls the form2email.asp page
the code is that
<FORM name="mailform" METHOD=POST ACTION="form2email.asp">

but when it calls that page ie5 shows error

Hi Irfan,
The problem that you are facing is either because you have not created the default page for the application or you have not given the directory browsing facility when setting up the application in IIS.
But you can still access the page by giving the page name after the url.
I hope it can solve your problem.

What error you are getting when you try to run asp page?
May be the problem is “the Active server pages is disable in Web service extension”
To enable and disable a Web service extension
In IIS Manager, expand the local computer, and then click Web Service Extensions.

In the details pane, click the Web Service Extension that you want to enable or disable.

To enable a disabled Web service extension, click Allow.

To disable an enabled Web service extension, click Prohibit.

Click OK.

Note:- This is not only reason of error, so please feel free to post the error you are getting
