Regcure has not (to my recollection) ever been recommended here. Combofix is recommended on an individual basis only and should not be used otherwise. Logs please of those you [i]have[/i] run so we can check them.

Sounds like a hardware problem. First thing I would look at is dust build-up inside the case, specifically on the cpu heatsink. If it's very dusty, see if you can get yourself a can of compressed air and blow out as much as possible.
