Here are some talking about how fake Sarah Palin, when they support the biggest of all fakes.
October surprise.

Nothing in there but more crap. All you got left is smears but even that is turning your own party against you. The cries of "kill him", "N***", and "sit down, boy" heard at Palin rallies shows the level of support that you are going for.

Here is the rebuttal page

Can we skip this McCain/Obama shenanigan and vote straight for Sarah Palin for President? ;)

Spoken like a true 'ditto head'.

GrimJack 1,414 Posting Maven Featured Poster

What I find funny is that the worst epithets that apply to Palin apply equally if not moreso to Obama.

Keep 'em coming!

I don't think Obama has claimed to speak for AK, field-dress a moose, or read all the newspapers (though I bet he does actually reads newspapers - have you noticed how similar to Bush Palin is in her responses). What I find funny is the Republican dance around the failing campaign of 'Maverick' that has so many corporate brands on him.

Just pointed that out to lighten up the thread...........lol........But on a serious note Aia, I love your eloquence.

I caught that lisp thing myself but jeez lose the lolcrap and, yeah 3 dots is an ellipsis, 4 dots is an ellipsis at the end of a sentence after that it is an affectation.

No wonder you're so misguided.
What was Congress doing in those administrations? Do you want to go back and really do "your homework" and show us, what party had control of Congress in those administration? Do you want to show us who proposed and supported those "favorable laws" that you credit so quickly to the head of executive branch? Can you?
I don't think you could, even if you really want.
No need to answer my questions. Keep worshiping the picture of Bill Clinton, behind a pulpit, giving the "famous executive order that" reduced the deficit, while getting a blow-job.

Aia - if you have something to add, add it. You think your Repube heroes were the saints of DC - Newt was getting b.j.s in his office while castigating Clinton for getting b.j.s; what's his name was tapping his foot in the men's room, the other one was sending obscene emails to young, underage pages. Where do you get off calling me misguided when your lodestone points south (er, well dang - actually the Chinese used South as the top of their maps and their lodestones did point south so you win this round but I will get you and your little dog too)?

I still have not gotten over my paranoia about M$ from their introduction of Windows Genuine Advantage - they snuck it in with no warning or anything during one of their upgrades. When geeks found it and screamed loudly about its 'phone home' capabilities, M$ finally made it public. I refuse to let it out (locked up by ZA) and run it locally whenever I need to verify my machine to them.

Also, if you go to any site that rates security software, Defender rates at best mediocre. So I shut that thing down but that is just me.

I wanted to clear up someone's earlier poisonous references to ACORN:

For Immediate Release: October 7, 2008

ACORN Statement from Bertha Lewis, Interim Chief Organizer, on Incident in Las Vegas:

"Over the past year, ACORN has worked hard to help over 80,000 people in Clark County register to vote. As part of our nonpartisan voter registration program, we have review all the applications submitted by our canvassers. When we have identified suspicious applications, we have separated them out and flagged them for election officials. We have zero tolerance for fraudulent registrations. We immediately dismiss employees we suspect of submitting fraudulent registrations.

For the past 10 months, any time ACORN has identified a potentially fraudulent application, we turn that application into election officials separately and offer to provide election officials with the information they would need to pursue an investigation or prosecution of the individual.

Election officials routinely ignored this information and failed to act. In early July, ACORN asked to meet with election officials to express our concerns that they were not acting on information ACORN had presented to them. ACORN met with Clark County elections officials and a representative of the Secretary of State on July 17th. ACORN pleaded with them to take our concerns about fraudulent applications seriously. One week later, elections officials asked us to provide them with a second copy of what we had previously provided to them. ACORN responded by giving election officials copies of 46 "problem application packages," which involved 33 former canvassers.

This was sure a campaign stopping surprise, wasn't it?

GrimJack 1,414 Posting Maven Featured Poster

I just ran across this interview on Hannity and Colmes:

McCain answered, “Well, first of all, she's probably one of the foremost experts in this nation on energy issues. And she's responsible for – make a long story short, a pipeline, a $40 billion pipeline bringing natural gas from Alaska down to the lower 48.”

Besides the fact that there is no agreement to build the pipeline and it's not a $40 billion project, Palin's work on the pipeline would hardly make her “one of the foremost experts” on energy in the country.

But Palin's mojo didn't stop there. McCain continued, “She has been involved in these issues of energy in many unique ways, including being on the board that oversights the natural gas and oil resources and other resources in the State of Alaska. And so I think that there's nobody more qualified to take on our mission of becoming energy independence.”

I could not possibly watch the actual vid but you can if you have the stomach

He was exonnerated for that however one of Obamas close buddies was one of the keatings that actually went to jail. And ill take someone who left their sick wife over someone who's friends are terrorists who say "I am guilty of hell, and free as a bird, god bless america" with a preacher who yells GD america, not to mention louis Farakan. If you, I am assuming you would be using logic, and from your tone thats assuming alot, and put these two side by side and tell me Obama's friends, advisors, and alliances dont make the hair on the back of your neck stand up, I am worried for our country. I make no case for McCain, I would have maybe voted for Ron Paul, but not these chumps.

McCain's son was on the board of directors for Keating's S&L. Which guy are you saying was Obama's buddy that went to jail during the S&L thingy? Why are you mentioning Louis Farakan - I thought you said not to mention him? You are worried about our country but you toss around all these vague accusations stolen from some weird right-leaning blog without using a shred of logic then whinge about someone else not using logic - don't burst a vein dude.

GrimJack 1,414 Posting Maven Featured Poster

so his alliances and friends hold no bearing for you whatsoever?!?! Are you serious?! Character and judgement hold you accountable in a court of law, but they don't matter for the president of the united states?!?!?! Tony Rezco, Jeremiah Wright, and Flager, William Ayers? I think his charcter and judgment stink!

You are just rattling off names without making a point.

I have been trying to find ths Flager dude but all I find are Pfleger and Flagler -- I am going to guess that you are referring to Father Michael Pfleger - so what do you have against him?

Rezco is in jail - so what, McCain's friends make him look like a saint.

Ayers - what is your problem with Ayers and why do you think that has anything to do with Obama? Obama was 6 years old when the Weather Underground was formed. The 2 barely crossed paths.

Reverend Jeremiah Wright - not much there unless you watch a video of his 30 years of preaching, cherry-picking the juicy parts.

Get a clue dude.

Has anyone considered the consequences of putting this child Obama in the white house? I have heard some of the most idiotic and inept decision making in choosing thier candidates in my entire life. Mcain is sad as well, is this the best the republican party can come up with?!?! Obama is part of the freddy & fanny gang which broke this country. Does this matter to anyone?!

You don't read much do you

Senator John McCain’s campaign manager was paid more than $30,000 a month for five years as president of an advocacy group set up by the mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to defend them against stricter regulations, current and former officials say.

stories in the NYT, Newsweek and Roll Call accusing McCain campaign manager Rick Davis of continuing to receive financial benefits from Fannie and Freddie up until last month - contradicting what McCain and Davis both claimed to be the case

He stands for nothing and lies about everything.

pure bull pucky - not worth dismissing

The government in this country is so morally bankrupt its just sick and how anyone can tote a flag for any of these candidates needs to stop and think and do some research.

Love it or leave it.

Look at the people Obama looks up to and surrounds himself with. Character and associates matter greatly in a court of law so why should the same not apply with the leader of the country.

make a point, follow up …

Which president produced:

1. The highest growth in the gross domestic product?
2. The highest growth in jobs?
3. The biggest increase in personal disposable income after taxes?
4. The highest growth in industrial production?
5. The highest growth in hourly wages?
6. The lowest Misery Index (inflation plus unemployment)?
7. The lowest inflation?
8. The largest reduction in the deficit?

The answers: 1. Harry Truman, 2. Bill Clinton, 3. Lyndon Johnson, 4. John F. Kennedy, 5. Johnson, 6. Truman, 7. Truman, 8. Clinton. In the Economic Sweepstakes, Democratic presidents trounce Republicans eight times out of eight!

If this isn’t enough to destroy the myth that the economy has performed better under Republicans, the stock market has also done better under the Democrats. The Dow Jones Industrial Average during the 20th century has risen 7.3 percent on average per year under Republican presidents. Under Democrats, it rose 10.3 percent – which means investors gained a whopping 41 percent more. And the stock market declined further during George W’s two terms. Moreover, since World War II, Democratic presidents have increased the national debt by an average of 3.7 percent per year and Republican presidents have increased it an average of 10.1 percent. During the same time period, Democratic presidents produced, on average, an unemployment rate of 4.8 percent; Republicans, 6.3 percent. That’s the historical record.
