You are so full of it. Never seen someone with just an acute case of mental diarrhea.

Ooh, Ouch, your witty repartee has cut me to the quick. First you say I am 'full of it' - that was so hurtful. Then the reference to diarrhea, which everyone knows is a physical problem, the way you qualified it with the Mental, which everyone knows is actually non-physical was such a brain twister; I mean, whoa, how do you come up with that stuff? then that reference to thinking diarrhea was cute - the grossness factor just adds to the overall effect.

Brilliant, Aia - you are on top of your form tonight.

Bernanke, trying not to slip in the patches of blood on the floor, struggled with Greenspan. The older man moved like a snake that moved like a former Fed Chairman who moved like a ninja. At last, Bernanke got a solid grip on Greenspan’s collar and hurled him through the fourth wall, knocking you to the ground.

Improvising a tourniquet from the remains of the snake left over from the earlier simile, Bernanke moved on through the hallways.

Yeah, the conservatives claim GW/CC is bad science but don't say anything about Creationism/Intelligent Design.

Conservatives show off Sarah Palin, an avowed Creationist who belongs to a church that believes that women should be subservient to their husbands but won't let her have a press conference that is not completely controlled by 'handlers'

Conservatives are not theocrats - particularly when conservative writers get to disallow anyone they want for purposes of definition. "They are not conservative because i don't want to talk about Christian Conservatives who believe that this is a Christian country and should be run based on the bible."

I would go on but this is becoming boring.

didn't you get the talking point? That is like saying "just because I say Barack Hussein Obama - that does not mean I am implying anything".

That fat sausage Rush is now telling the lie that Obama is Arab/African.

Oh, the parts in red are spin.

Let us start with Rush first:

Rush Limbaugh baselessly asserted of Sen. Barack Obama: "Do you know he has not one shred of African-American blood?" Limbaugh continued: "He's Arab. You know, he's from Africa. He's from Arab parts of Africa. ... [H]e's not African-American. The last thing that he is is African-American."

So the drug-addled sausage boy (sorry, I disagree with Limbaugh' politics just a little - I try to feed his bull pucky back to him) is repeating this day after day - I think he is losing it.

You wanted to know where was 'black' was mentioned in my screed; I will quote Cavuto:

  • Loaning to minorities and risky folks is a disaster.
  • when you and many of your colleagues were pushing for more minority lending.
  • pushing for more minority lending

These are 'code words' - Cavuto tried to be subtle so he did not actually use the word 'black' - he used 'code words'.

What is the type of internet connection?
What is the model of the modem (is it a modem/router with more than one port)?
What will you be using to connect the pc?

What form of internet connection do you have? If it is DSL and your internet modem has 2 connections then you can plug the 2nd pc into it but you will need to get a 2nd IP address from your ISP. If you use the router then you should let the router handle LAN addressing so set the pc to DHCP.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.

I know - I was expecting it. That is an example of why you do not use magnesium as the base for a paint. Hey guys,

I've used several different types of ballots in my life, paper, punch cards, computer. All of them are subject to abuse...what we need is a system that will deliver accuracy and give us back our democracy when we vote for president. So I propose:

One toll free number that dials an election server run by Eunuchs (or something). You put in your social security number and password and vote.

Simple...the politicians would never put it in because of apportionment...they couldn't fix elections any more. So this would need a grass roots effort. Say, we have that here don't we...hummmnnn.

What do you think?

zeroth

Using eunuchs is actually pretty funny as they are the political party that stopped the Chinese exploration of the world. Without going too deeply into the details, the Chinese trading fleet traveled all over the world (some historians believe it even made it to South America). Chinese porcelain was traded all over the 'known' world. Upon the fleet's return to China the fleet was dismantled because of the Eunuch Party pretty much controlled politics of the time and the Captain of the fleet bought his supplies, repairs and such from the most qualified rather then the eunuch's friends.

The last known Chinese eunuch died in December 1996

But I digress!

Hi Experts,
If hydrons are passed in as high as light's speed in a helium gas chamber ? what could be the result ?

LI but only if you start with a Hydron of Triton. It would be a race between contact with HE and degradation (it has a half life of 12.32 years). Tritium is a waste product of heavy Water-moderated reactors. It is an inefficient form of fusion. Lithium needs 4 neutrons so the Triton which is 1 proton with 2 neutrons + HE which is 2 protons with 2 neutrons - LI which is 3 protons and 4 neutrons.

Creating hydrogen using the DC generated by solar cells is highly inefficient. Also hydrogen would take up the largest volume of any gas, is dangerous to handle and difficult to store.

I was responding to a suggestion to store the excess energy as compressed gas - which do you think is least efficient.
I suggested storing it as H because of H-fuel cell cars; if you want to talk efficiency, consider cracking water with excess power vs. cracking water with power that everyone is competing for. Hydrogen is about 1000 times less dangerous than gasoline; compare storing H with storing air. Storing H as a liquid is not a new or unusual technology considering that is part of what puts our rockets into space. (I am doing a little hand-waving here so that we do not get into a discussion of parahydrogen). We already have a pretty strong infrastructure that carries LNG all over the country.

She is strong. She is tough. She is confident. And you claim she is ready to be one heart beat away form the presidency. If that is the case, then end this chauvinistic treatment of her now. Allow her to show her stuff. Allow her to face down those pesky reporters... Let her have a real news conference with real questions. Solar power plants could supply 69 percent of the U.S.’s electricity and 35 percent of its total energy by 2050. Excess daytime energy would be stored as compressed air in underground caverns to be tapped during nighttime hours.

I think it would be better to store it as hydrogen (as in cracking water) to support fuel cell technology and (sort of) killing 2 birds with one stone.

a little bird was having a heck of time partying and getting it on with the locals when he suddenly noticed that he missed the migration. He thought he would try to head south any way. He struggled against terribly cold winds, then came the rain and sleet. finally he was so cold and his wings started to ice up - he just could not make it any further. His wings locked up and fell into a barnyard. To his great fortune, he fell into a fresh cow patty. this warmed him up and gave him so much more energy, that he started to sing. along came a cat who ate him.

There 3 morals to this story - here are 2 of them:

If you find a warm place in the barnyard, don't sing about it.
