Some old CD-Rom Drives are unable to read CD's burnt at very high speed. Lower the speed to 4x and check whether this works. Or perhaps the other CD-Rom drives lens needs to be cleaned.

What are your computer specifications? As too slow computers wont be able to play such bit rate files efficiently.

Hi, can anybody help me? i am relatively new to C Programming. My question is : How do you create a program which will take a filename as an argument, check whether the file is present and open it (if the file is not present create that file). Thanks -Kartik

Since you are using an Intel processor, just to check whether the computer is really heating up, download a utility "Intel Active Monitor" to monitor your computers temperature which can be found at intel.com
