I have to admit that I do not really see the point of pretty graphs for such stats. Why should I, or indeed you, really care about whether you have made more posts than another member over a given period of time? Serious question by the way, not meant to be sarcastic.

They would need to be replaced by a team of folk who can actually give a damn and play committed rugby for a full 80 minutes if they were to stand any chance of beating an on-form All Blacks side.

And I honestly cannot see that happening with this rather tired and predictable French side.

Quite honestly, France have been one of the most disappointing sides to watch play throughout the entire tournament (losing to Tonga, really?) and yet they are in the final. Makes no sense at all...

I'm not going to bother watching the final next week. Who cares how much of a kicking France get, when you know they are going to get a kicking?

Commiserations @ardav that was one heck of a Welsh performance (apart from the refuse to kick it bit at 70 mins) and the French didn't deserve the win playing so poorly against a side a man down for 60 minutes. A sad day for rugby at this level :(

Pretty much everyone, from all nations except France, is agreed that was one of the worst decisions by a ref in any world cup semi-final/final. Pathetic. :(

WTF? Is the ref on crack? That was a borderline yellow, and never red in a million years. And I thought Rolland just had a stick up his ass when England were playing.

Feel so bad for Wales who were playing so well and now face 60 minutes without their captain.

At the very least that should have gone to the TV ref to look at, there was absolutely no malice in that tackle.

The French played well against England but were far from their best I thought, meanwhile Wales played better than I can can recall seeing them do so for many, many years (I'm thinking back to the days of JPR Williams if I'm being honest - seriously, that's the impression it left on me) so if they can keep that momentum going, who knows?

I'm rooting for Wales through to the final and then fingers crossed that NZ are as weak as they were against the Argies.

Can't honestly see AUS upsetting NZ at home, especially after the pretty lacklustre performance against SA.

FWIW I would be happy to have just the daily activity ranking and no weekly or cumulative totals.

I would also be very sad indeed to see the daily activity ranking vanish though, as I use this spot spammers and other rogue users. A new username that suddenly appears towards the top of the list is almost always a spammer, and it's a very quick way of catching the ones that post in less obvious forums or in more subtle ways (links in punctuation for example)

I refresh the stats page a couple of times every visit as a result of the above, so was probably me crashing the database :)

I predicted 'at least 46-3' for the England/Romania game so was happy to see the 67-3 result. Mind you, against that team, anything much less would have been a disaster.

Anyway, what I said was the yahoo addy you have provided is, indeed, associated with another DaniWeb member (who joined on June 30th 2011) which is why you are unable to use it.

As Nick says, being stupid isn't currently a crime. Those posters who do not break this, or any other rule, but otherwise fall into the annoying dumbass category should be dealt with by way of a guiding hand PM from the mods which serves to gently prod them in the right direction towards becoming a valuable member of the community.

The EDL are racist hate-mongers. I was in Halifax a couple of weekends ago when they marched there and it reminded me of the National Front marching in the seventies: same thuggish/aggressive supporters, same racist sloganeering, same jumping on the prejudice bandwagon. I predict that the EDL will go the same way as the National Front, that is fairly rapidly into oblivion. And good riddance to it...

Oh, and before jumping to the political conspiracy theory regarding why the EDL website is down, ever thought it might just be crap coding, crap/cheap hosting, non-payment of bills yada yada yada. All are much more likely than 'the government' bothering with trying to bring down such an inconsequential political site as that.

The tutorial posting process currently remains as:

Post in most relevant forum
Clearly flag as a tutorial
PM the mods of that forum and/or myself
Tutorial gets peer reviewed as is
If of high enough quality then gets post type changed to tutorial

The main thing is to contribute good quality postings, ask interesting and relevant questions and answer threads where you know the answer. Aside from that, tell your friends/colleagues about DaniWeb and encourage them to do the same.

You are only banned if you accrue 10 infraction points. A Keep It Legal infraction is worth 5 points.

The Keep It Legal rule clearly states:

"Do ensure you own the intellectual property rights to everything that you post. Do not post copyright-infringing material"

And that still applies even if you then add a link saying "this is where I copied that from" unless you can prove that the IP owner has given you explicit, written, permission for you to use it and for us to publish it.

Seems like abelLazm being banned is attracting a lot of attention here.

Generally speaking, when someone breaks the rules and then argues the rules don't apply to them it tends to get my attention.
