I installed mysql on ubuntu 10.10 using the terminal screen but when i give in the command
%mysql -u root -p .it gives me the following error( as attached in the screenshot)..Please tell me as to how can i access my mysql account and create databases etc.

Its solved, actually ubuntu itself sets the default password as "db_user_password" as the password.
