I have installed Mysql 5.1 and it did install.
But when i configured mysql, It gives me an error while staring the Service saying "Could not start the MySQL service".
I have Reinstalled the Complete Mysql by deleting all the registry keys but still the same error is being displayed.

So Please........ Help

Assuming you're on windows. Turn off all your virus protection and retry starting mysqld.

BTW: how are you installing MySQL? Is it a binary you downloaded? Is it through an installer? Are you compiling the source?
