I have a website where I would like to have my users use their facebook login and password and then they sign in and able to post comments. I have seen this a lot at lot of other sites. for eg www.cricinfo.com

I am interested to know how this works. Any link to the knowledge base or tutorial is required.

Is called Facebook Connect basically you need to use the API or SDK of Facebook to check if a user is logged in with Facebook and optionally get information about her/him to use it, nothing complicated as far as I see.

But you need to register a Facebook Application first, as that application will be shown when asking the user about for permissions you require.
