The basic app usage: The user will be able to select multiple folders(with music, videos and photos) and give it a name. This selection of folder will be served by the app as an web page with it's content displayed, once the user viewing this page selects an midia, it starts the streaming. As searching has returned very little, my question is simple yet seems to have a complicated explaination. How does one go about processing and sending aspx pages that don't have a physical location (i.e. the apsx page is built in a string or is an embedded resource) to the client? I've had a look at the [SimpleWorkerRequest](https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.web.hosting.simpleworkerrequest%28v=vs.110%29.aspx) but the only thing I could find was that it needed a physical file to play with. I've also looked at [HttpWorkerRequest](https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.web.httpworkerrequest_methods(v=vs.110).aspx) which was suggested on a page I cant find that it doesnt need physical pages. Also browsed across [AspNetServer by lcomplete](https://github.com/lcomplete/AspNetServer) …

Hi all, So here's some background information on what we are trying to setup. We have two data centers over 40km apart and one of them runs the webserver (over 80 websites) and we use another machine on the other side to keep backups (typical cpanel backups). So I have already looked at setting up a failover system (Active/Passive) for the web server using a clustered system running pacemaker and drbd in a test environment and it works fine. Now a team member introduced the CDN concept and we have been looking at having an Active/Active (Using pacemaker, drbd and …

I m stuck in some jsp programing issue. I'm working as temp web-admin for my friend who is one vacations. I'm managing his freelance web-designing website. Over the weekend i was told by my friend ; to make changes in the login.jsp page and do some programing to log user credentials in a file. I have edited the action field in login.jsp and diverted it to my log.jsp ; the file logs users credentials reading it from username / password field and saving it into a file. This works perfectly in my test-webserver but when i run into his production …

As I was looking for a webhost to host some important files of me that I need at various locations, I 'discovered' what I already knew: filehosting is expensive! :) As I'm exploring some alternative web file-sharing methods, I heard some people found a way to share files from their local computer to the web. When they enter a specific IP-adress or URL, they will be able to acces the files from their computers (read-only acces). I'm aware of the fact that my computer has to be power on any given time to acces my files, but that's not a …

Hi, I seem to be completely stumped here. I have a server with CentOS 5.4 installed with CPanel and I can access my CPanel admin with [url]http://192.168.x.x:2086[/url] I also have a test site that I have created using CPanel (let's call it testsite.com). Now here is the problem: I can access testsite.com from outside of the LAN but not within the LAN! Is there some kind of setup I have to do with my router to correct this?

Hi All, I am relatively new to the world of webservers and java, so please pardon me for any mistakes i make in conveying my problem. THe problem is as following: we have a sunone webserver 1(abc.com), and there is a sun one webserver2(def.com) there is a jsp application in webserver 1 running. There is a button in the application in abc.com. When the user clicks on this button the application redirects the user to [icode]def.com(response.redirect("def.com");)[/icode]. This redirect hits the browser and the browser then redirects the user to def.com. When the request hits def.com an LDAP is authentication mechanism …

Hi, I've been busy writing a script to upload photo's to my webserver, and after a lot of searching I finally managed to get the permissions correct, but now I'm having another problem. There are quite a lot of posts about it, but they all come down to having the wrong path, but for as far as I can see the server is crazy :P anywho, errors (last is output of my script): Warning: move_uploaded_file(contacts/banner.png) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/xxx/domains/xxx.nl/public_html/test/contacts/maakprof.php on line 23 Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: Unable to move '/tmp/phpZ20V6B' to 'contacts/banner.png' in …

I'm having an issue in figuring out how to connect to the website in question. This is just a copy of the original site that is being hosted on a VM on one of our servers. This is merely a development server to test the changes to the website. It's currently in the DMZ and I can connect to it via SSH. How would I go about viewing the site on that VM? The address I use to SSH into it is 10.0.0.5, wouldn't I just through that up into a browser on the LAN and it should load up? …
