well basically i come from more of a multimedia/audio background with computers and my professsional background is in the electronics field (mostly troubleshooting not engineering).
some of my hobbies include composition, mountain biking, and ju jitsu.
recently i have become interested in learning unix/linux so i am reading a few books on the subject(s) and am looking to perhaps take some courses in unix system administration and start another career etc.
i am very excited about the world of sys adm and related and well just basically looking to learn as much as i can and talk to others who are interested in similiar things.
i'll also be moving to austin, tx within the next few weeks so that's about all i guess
