Hello, I am a 50 year old engineer,ex-army, formerly from Wales, but moved to Kent some 26 years ago ( I hate sheep! ).
I have over 10 years experience repairing all manner of electronic equipment.
My personal preference is the Linux operating system, I use Mandriva 2012 KDE4, after working with SCO Unix I found Linux easy to use and maintain.
My first name is Terry, I live in Dover but no longer work in the industry as am disabled.
I keep my interest going by repairing all my friends faulty electronic equipment, and maintaining their PC's and laptops. I am presently learning Java, refreshing my C++ and generally having a good time.
Hope to see you lot around sometime.
