I love this quote and feel it can be applied to most anything.
In 1998 my entire group moved from our old control centre into a brand new, state of the art, hurricane proof, hi-tech, custom designed building. Including the system control operators, support staff and R&D staff there were about 85 people in the new building. After a month of settling in I wrote in big block letters on an easel in the main conference room what I think was an original quote from me.

Yes, it is a quote from John Wooden. I'm bit surprise you actually mention a basketball coach. He pass away couple years ago. He was a great basketball coach and good motivator. I attach a image Pyramid of Success that I follow daily (I try follow it, it's hard sometimes)
A friend of my dad gave me a book on john wooden, so i somehow remembered a few quotes.

Yes, it is. I wasn't like on a basketball team like you but I do read and learn something about quotes from motivators.
Pat Riley to me is the best NBA coach and motivator beside John Wooden.
