The choice of app is determined by what I want to watch.
If I want to watch SEVERENCE then it's the Apple app. Maybe is asking a different question but didn't tell all.

i am using cinema app to watch free movies,season with subtitle you can watch in every lanugage which you want. this is really good for me.

Sorry, I missed the keyword free when reading your initial question. However, a company based out of Los Gatos where I live is called Plex. It lets people set up servers to stream their own content.
