Hi,

I run a discussion forum, which is closed for guests - ie, guests cannot view the forum, you must sign up to view anything.

I know that placing adsense on the forum would break the terms (as well as being completely unproductive) but does anyone know of any similar advertisement packages which allow for closed forums? The only thing I can think is to sell the adspace, but everywhere I go, I see loads of people selling and hardly anyone buying adspace. I do have good traffic, and a decent memberbase.

PS: Opening the forum up to guests is not really an option, much as I would like to.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Banner ads. EHarmony sell banner space and its a paid site - a very expensive one to say the least. So banner ads and perhaps sponsored emails from your advertisers is an option.
