Hello Friends

I wanted to know if there will be a significant delay, after your site is crawled, to be indexed?

Thanks

asked about delay after crawling; clarified whether links or pages; and noted that timing varies. The practical reality is predictable enough to troubleshoot: indexing can be quick for well‑known sites and pages, but new pages or low‑authority sites often take longer. Official background is in Google's Crawling and Indexing documentation (Google – How Search Works: Crawling and indexing).

Quick diagnostic checklist to run when a URL is crawled but not indexed:

  • Use the URL Inspection tool in Search Console to see crawl date, indexing status, and any errors. See the URL Inspection docs ().
  • Confirm the page returns a 200 (or appropriate) HTTP status and is not blocked by robots.txt, X‑Robots‑Tag, or a meta noindex.
  • Check the canonical: a rel=canonical pointing to another URL will prevent indexing of the current URL.
  • Verify the page is not a thin/duplicate page or behind a login/form; low unique content reduces indexing priority.
  • Ensure the site sitemap is submitted and that important pages are internally linked from crawlable pages.
  • Review server logs for Googlebot activity and any 5xx/4xx spikes that could stop indexing.

Common timeframes and tips: established, frequently crawled sites can see new pages indexed within hours to a few days; new sites or low‑authority pages can take several weeks. Requesting indexing from Search Console can speed things for individual pages but is not guaranteed and should be used selectively. If a page still fails to index after following the checklist, the Search Console Coverage report and server logs typically reveal the root cause.

you mean how long it takes to index the links!?

I think that no one really know this for sure. And on top of that each SE may work different. So, what I suggest is to be patient but keep building more high PR relative backlinks while you wait.

Jenny is correct no one knows that except if you are of the google's engineer who create that..
