Short checklist and practical next steps based on the thread: the two sites mentioned by can be invisible to Google for a few distinct reasons — deindexing/manual action, index-blocking tags, thin or duplicated content, poor/unsafe backlink profile, or simply being outcompeted for those keywords. ’s note about mostly nofollow/forum links and ’s UX/CSS points are both relevant: link quantity alone won’t help if the links are low-value, and a poor user experience makes it harder to keep visitors and earn natural links.

Quick diagnostic steps to run now:

  • Check indexing: site:yourdomain.com and site:yourdomain.com "target keyword" to see what’s indexed and whether multiple pages are cannibalizing the same term.
  • Check Search Console: look for Manual Actions, Coverage issues and URL Inspection results (request indexing after fixes).
  • Verify robots/meta: curl -I https://yourdomain.com/robots.txt and inspect page source for <meta name="robots" content="noindex">.
  • Look for duplicate/thin pages and weak titles/H1s that don’t match user intent.

Backlink triage and recovery:

  • Audit link sources (third‑party tools will help). Prioritize removal requests for clearly spammy domains, then create a careful disavow file only if necessary. Example disavow format:
    # disavow example
    domain:spammydomain.com
    http://spam.example/bad-link.html
  • Focus new link efforts on editorial, topical sites and branded or long‑tail anchors instead of mass forum/image links. , and were right to stress quality and unique content — but pair that with outreach to sites that publish original analysis, reviews, or data.

On‑page and UX fixes:

  • Improve content depth for each target phrase (original comparison, tests, screenshots, user signals). Fix responsive CSS and avoid fixed font/sizing that breaks readability (as warned). Speed, mobile friendliness and clear internal linking matter for competitiveness.

After fixes, request reindexing and monitor Search Console impressions/queries. Changes may take days to weeks to show—focus on clean technical setup, better content, and a gradual, quality link-building approach.

I only see 5 backlinks and 4 of those are nofollowed and 3 of the later are in forums and the other one uses an image for anchor text. I think you need to concentrate on getting some quality backlinks.

either remove the "Valid XHTML 1.1 and CSS 3" or fix the code
its boring
fixed fonts, sizes etc look like crap on any screen other than the one laid out on push content offscreen on part screen windows or small devices
there is a lot to alter
css current best practice is em and %
px are used for images, there are a lot of GOOD wp themes, why choose crap

on my laptop with 168px/inch 11px fonts are 0.06 inch high, I am not going to waste effort zooming your poorly designed site, neither will google
Yahoo is insignificant, has not sufficient users to make it posted results of any value
goto the w3 group and read best practice
