I want to start a business of online selling products like ebay and Amazon but i don't have knowledge of selling products. Some friend suggests "Online Auction Learning Center" who gives best ways of online selling and buying products in their "Audio CD". Anyone get this CD before its really helpful for business?

This thread from raises a common question: is a paid “Audio CD” worth buying for learning how to sell on places like eBay or Amazon? The answers from , and point in the right direction—combine free research with hands-on practice—but a physical course from years ago can quickly become outdated. Marketplaces change policies, listings and fee structures often, and consumer-protection agencies warn about programs that promise easy, guaranteed income. (businessinsider.com)

A practical way to decide what to sell is to validate demand first. Use Google Trends to check search interest and seasonality, and browse Amazon’s Best Sellers, Movers & Shakers and BSR data to see categories that are actively selling. Collect three simple metrics for each idea: search interest, current price range, and top-seller review counts—this avoids buying inventory for low-demand items. (trends.google.com)

Next, choose a channel with the business model in mind. Marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Etsy) bring ready traffic but enforce rules and take fees; a hosted store (Shopify) gives control but needs traffic. Fulfillment options matter: Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) can remove logistics work but adds storage/fulfillment costs; eBay uses insertion/final-value fees; Shopify lists pricing tiers and payment fees—so run expected fees into a simple margin sheet before committing. (sell.amazon.com)

A short action plan that mirrors the thread’s sensible advice: 1) pick one small SKU and test it (dropshipping or a small buy‑in reduces risk), 2) create one clean listing and run low-cost traffic or organic listings, 3) measure conversion and true profit per sale, 4) scale only when unit economics are reliable; meanwhile register the business and track tax obligations. Use official help centers and free seller guides (Shopify, eBay Seller Center) and the SBA/IRS startup pages for legal and tax steps. (help.shopify.com)

Taken together, the safest path is to follow current official docs, test with a low-cost experiment (as suggested), and avoid one-off “secret formula” products that may be outdated or overpromised.
