How with fireworks do you change a rectangle that is say 500px by 50px so that it ends up with a curve effect on the bottom??
I have tried various ways but with no success, as anyone any suggestions??

What do you mean by a curve effect on the bottom. Do you want the outline of the box to be curved like a rounded rectangle (but on the bottom only) or are you talking about making it look 3D and using a gradient to look like the the middle of the button is popping out?
Have you seen this on a website somewhere that we can see as an example of what you mean?
