does anyone know if you can set up a moto t720 so when you flip it open it doesn't answer the incoming call my caller id screen broke and i want to be able to see who is calling

I have an i530 and under the main menu button select 'Phone Calls'
then select 'Auto Ans' then set it to off by selecting 'change' option
then toggle the desired option. dont forget to save it.

Good Choice

To disable the auto answer function enter the menu, then select 'In-Call Setup' and then navigate to 'Answer Options'. The rest should be self explanatory.

Either that or get a new phone. That happened to my old T721 and I just replaced it with a V180, which I got free from Cingular.
